Spring Fair - Community Building Event

Picture
The 2017-2018 school year will have grade run school events!

Grades: 4,5, & 6
Parent & student run event between April & June
Can be on the weekend or evening - review school & district calendar to avoid conflicts.

  • Talk to teacher about the Spring Fair and ask if they would like to use the event as a unit of inquiry
  • Call a grade / division meeting to present the event and gather ideas the latest in December or January
  • The event can be scaled to what your volunteer base can handle
  • Complete the form below with your high level proposal and the MPAC Executive will review the plan and provide assistance with school approval, MPAC donation request letters and class rep coordinator support.
  • The class rep coordinator will then ensure the website is updated, the school calendar has event listed, the ordering system is set up, printing and cheques are prepared for vendor payment.
  • Your group can arrange poster creation, student announcements, set ticket pricing (accounting to ensure event breaks even - any profits go to the MPAC fundraising budget, used to purchase school wishlist items at the end of the year)
