CODING IS COMING TO MONTROYAL
Note on Coding:  This year coding will be offered to intermediate students (Grade 4-7) as an in-curricular program paid by your PAC. XModus Software Inc (www.xmodus.com) will be the provider.  Each Grade 4-7 calss will have one week instruction, starting October 22.  Here is the coding schedule. This program was requested by our administration and will be paid for by your MPAC.  This is an excellent example of your MPAC:
  1. investing our resources in the top priorities identified in the parent survey dollars are being invested
  2. supporting the curriculum
  3. working collaboratively with teachers & administration to providing enrichment opportunities to our students
These opportunities are unique and Mr. Campbell is inviting  Superintendent Mark Pearmain to view the opportunities provided to MPAC students to showcase the benefits of administration and the parents working together.  Mr. Campbell is also intending on encouraging the teachers to attend the classes in order to provide professional development opportunities and support to our teachers.
