You are invited to explore the strategic world of chess at this exclusive chess club. This club includes fundamentals for beginners along with strategies for the more advanced players. Chess Club players will have the opportunity to improve their skills by playing against other player of various levels. Have you ever wanted to create your own graphic novel? Students will have fun learning comic sketching, scriptwriting, drawing and composition. Your Artmania teacher will help you explore comics and illustration using various drawing and colouring techniques to bring your characters to life.
Fresh Air Learning: After School Adventures Tuesdays and Thursdays 3-5pm Session One: September 12th - December 21st 15 weeks, 30 sessions Grades K-3, 1:7 ratio
Join us in the forest for play and learning time after school! We see children as competent, capable people who are able to inspire their own learning and share with others. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we’ll enjoy nature stories, hands-on activities, and free play in the forest. Pick up is from Montroyal.
North Shore Basketball: Jr. Skills Wednesdays 3-4pm (10 sessions from Sept 20) Location - Main Gym $170 (T-Shirt Included) Grade 2-4
Participants will develop the essential skills and concepts required to have a solid foundation in the game of basketball. Sessions will progressively take participants through a series of fun drills and games that work on physical literacy and fundamentals like dribbling, passing and shooting. Throughout the program, participants will learn about core life-skills like positivity, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, respect, health and fitness. Each participant receives an NSBA T-Shirt.

Each session will focus on teaching basic sports skills and physical literacy through an exciting games-based approach to learning. LIGHTS UP MUSICAL THEATRE AFTERSCHOOL AT MONTROYAL ELEMENTARY Sing Dance Act Shine! At Lights Up After School. Your child can experience the joys and benefits of musical theatre by taking part in our afterschool programs led by our talented and experienced Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools staff. These classes are a unique introduction to our weekend musical theatre programs and provide students with an enriching, rewarding, and most of all, fun afterschool activity right at the bell! FALL SHOW! THE LITTLE MERMAID This Fall we will be putting on a version of the musical “The Little Mermaid,” created for our after school students! Students are supervised from the bell. No need to pick up your child until 5pm! Performance for parents on last day of classes!
Ski and Snowboard Club Join friends for some afterschool slopetime on Grouse Mountain. All levels are welcome. Ages 7 and older. See PAC newsletter for more details closer to ski season.
