Protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your information is our priority. We operate on the basis of a Privacy Policy and related procedures that guide the handling of the personal information we collect. We have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting the privacy of the Montroyal families and students. As per the North Vancouver School District, the Montroyal Parent Advisory Council (herein referred to as MPAC) strives to adhere to regulations set out by the BC Personal Information Protection Act.

This policy deals only with personal information handled by the MPAC. Personal information is information about an identifiable individual, excluding business contact information. The following explains how the MPAC handles personal information. The MPAC reserves the right to change this policy and it may be updated periodically. In the event of a change in the policy which will affect our use of your personal information the MPAC Communications will provide notice of the changes to all necessary individuals.

· Registering for Hot Lunch orders
· School directory
· MPAC regular communications including emails
· MPAC event registration
· Emergency tree lists for class reps
The MPAC will not collect, use, or disclose personal information for any other purpose than identified at or before the time of collection.
This contact information is voluntarily provided by Montroyal Families. Families may, at any time, be taken off at their request.
Through external merchants, the MPAC offers various services to its families through programs such as the Munch- A-Lunch Hot Lunch program.
Families who chose to participate in these programs should refer directly to the privacy policies of the sponsoring companies.
