Montroyal is one of a few elementary schools that have a year book for ALL grades each year. The yearbook is used to capture the events of the school year and includes a special tribute to our graduating class. The year book typically includes the following:
•    A school panoramic picture
•    Messages from the Principle and the Vice Principle
•    Class pages (class pictures and activity photos)
•    Event pictures (e.g.,Terry Fox Run, Halloween Parade, Charlie Brown's Christmas, Lion King, field trips, etc.)
•    Staff pictures
•    Class pictures of grade 7s

This keepsake can only be made possible with the help of parents and staff. So we are asking the school community to please submit pictures, that have been taken, throughout the year. These submissions will then be used, by our PAC and student volunteers, to make a beautiful yearbook.

Although we hope to see all of the happy faces, that attend Montroyal, in the yearbook, we do respect your child(ren)'s privacy. If you have any concerns about your child(ren) being included in the yearbook, please leave your message here.

We will also be accepting submissions for the Artwork, for the cover of the yearbook.  All Montroyal Students are encouraged to submit a letter-sized sheet (8.5” x 11”) picture (in a landscape position) for the book cover.  These pictures can be submitted with the file name or folder name CoverDesign.  

We will need some student volunteers to help with compiling the yearbook itself. Please find more details about this in the sections below.

All the year book submissions are due by 9:00 pm of June 5th, 2019.

Submit Photos

Please put your photos into different folders with distinguished names. It will help us identify photos and group them into correct pages.

For your reference, here are some examples of the naming convention: Div1-class-page, Div2-Field-trip, Div6-CharlieBrown-CastA, and/or CoverDesign.

There are two options to share your photos, please choose either of them.
1. Share from your Google account.
If you have a Google account, please share the photos using Google Drive or Google Photos to [email protected]

2. Upload photos to the MPAC website.
Please compress the photos into a .zip file and submit it to our MPAC website by clicking the Submit button below.
    Max file size: 20MB

Student Volunteers

We are looking for some grade 5-7 students to help with the year book project.

The student volunteers will help with the following items:
  • Help choose photos to be printed in the book.
  • Help adjust photos(brightness, cropping), if needed.
  • Identify students from their divisions.
Student volunteers will be doing their job at school. The volunteering time is about 2 hours.
