Upcoming Important Dates
February 27 District Lockdown Drill
The NV School District schedules an annual District Lockdown Drill Day as part of our Safe and Caring Schools program and in coordination with the NV RCMP. This is an important opportunity for students and staff to practice our responses to a threat to the school (e.g. intruder with intent to do harm). Find the letter HERE to parents/guardians explaining the reasons for the drill and the school lockdown procedures.
An increasing number of students are coming to school with cell phones. We ask parents to have a discussion with children to turn them to silent when at school. Alerts, calls/texts are disruptive & could potentially put students at risk.
