Our new principal will be Mr. Joe Campbell. Many new changes are coming to Montroyal for the 2017/2018 school year including a new bell schedule, a new division, new ways of using our school spaces and new ways of running our events, we look forward to his fresh perspective.
Thank you to Becky Jasper of Salted Cycle
Becky is a Montroyal parent and owner of Salted Cycle in North Vancouver. Becky ran an independent fundraiser for Montroyal and has generously donated a whopping $660 to the Montroyal PAC.
Thank you Becky for your generosity and enthusiasm!

BrainSTEM Summer Camp Draw!
Hot Lunch Coordinator
Thank you to Anne Marie for volunteering as our hot lunch coordinator next year, we appreciate your commitment! At this point we are offering a Tuesday menu, however the Thursday menu offering could be offered if we had a group of parents interested in sharing the prime role. This would require a commitment of once a month. Do you have 2 hours to give once a month on a Thursday? Please contact Carol Sartor with any questions or for more information.
School Supplies Donations
The North Shore Neighbourhood House needs pens, paper, erasers, scissors, staplers, paint, etc. The organization donates them to childcare services, food banks, social housing programs, etc. They support over 400 families and children a day here on the north shore. Boxes will be set up in the front lobby until end of school year. Thanks for your donations!
Free the Children Battery Collection (until June 26)
Our campaign is asking you to bring your dead batteries to save a child’s life. Donation bin is located in the lobby. We will make sure that no batteries end up in the landfill.
The After School Club will return next year and again will include Kindergarten students. Thanks to those who made the pilot a success!
Registration for the fall is through North Van Rec on August 21, 2017.
