Montroyal Giving Tree 2018
December 1-14

This year Montroyal will be supporting the Harvest Project by collecting non-perishable food donations.  This is just one of many opportunities for us to give back to our community.  If you are able; please consider donating the following items: Pasta sauces, canned fruit, canned meat/fish, granola bars, cookies, crackers, peanut butter, condiments, cereal, canned green beans and corn.  Donations can be placed under the tree in the school foyer.
The Harvest Project has been part of the North Shore community for over 25years! If you would like to learn more about them and also find other ways to help please click here.

MPAC Tip: Why not give your child(ren) each a set amount and a grocery basket to choose their own donations?

Holiday Market Thank You!

The MPAC would like to give a HUGE thank you to Denise Howell for organizing this year's Holiday Market!!  It was a huge success and a wonderful way to kick off the Festive Season!

A big holiday thank you to everyone that came out to the Holiday Market!  The market was a great success and it couldn’t have happened without all of the amazing volunteers and talented vendors, especially the student vendors.  Plus, a big thank you to everyone that donated to the market and those that attended.  Thank you to the teachers and staff for being supportive of the day and the students for helping setup, helping buddies, and more!  See you next year – start thinking about having your own table now!

Handsworth Rebuild Updates

​Announced Jan 2018 Handsworth will be fully rebuilt with a competition date of Aug 2021. The $62.3 million project is a collaborative effort by SD44, School Board, Ministry of Education and the DNV. The project does not include the sports field, furniture or outdoor lighting.
