Montroyal Giving Tree 2018
December 1-14

This year Montroyal will be supporting the Harvest Project by collecting non-perishable food donations.  This is just one of many opportunities for us to give back to our community.  If you are able; please consider donating the following items: Pasta sauces, canned fruit, canned meat/fish, granola bars, cookies, crackers, peanut butter, condiments, cereal, canned green beans and corn.  Donations can be placed under the tree in the school foyer.
The Harvest Project has been part of the North Shore community for over 25years! If you would like to learn more about them and also find other ways to help please click here.

MPAC Tip: Why not give your child(ren) each a set amount and a grocery basket to choose their own donations?  

Winter Festival (aka Drop & Shop)

Winter Festival is coming up in only a few days!!  We are expecting a big turnout, and have lined up lots of exciting activities in addition to the movie, including a floss off, a photo booth, and a slime workshop.      ​

  • Ticket sales on Munch a Lunch to close on Dec 13.
  • Please fill out a mandatory online form for all kids (including volunteers) before Dec 13!
  • Please send small bills and change for the Grade 7 concession stand
  • Parents are welcome to join Carol singalong with all the kids at 8:30 in the gym 
  • Volunteers still wanted, especially grade 7 students.  Sign up here

Handsworth Rebuild Updates

​Announced Jan 2018 Handsworth will be fully rebuilt with a competition date of Aug 2021. The $62.3 million project is a collaborative effort by SD44, School Board, Ministry of Education and the DNV. The project does not include the sports field, furniture or outdoor lighting.
